I am beyond excited to be joining Tulsa Home & Design Realty. I want to introduce myself and share a bit about where I’m from and how I got here today.
I was born and raised in the Tulsa metro and graduated from Bixby High School. One of the things that I’ve always loved about Tulsa, and a huge reason I decided to raise a family here myself, is the people and relationships. No matter where I go, I never meet people quite as friendly and welcoming as they are here in Tulsa. It’s been amazing to see the city grow and, in many ways, revive over the last decade or so, and to see the direction it continues to go. Everywhere you look new homes and neighborhoods are going up, along with so many new businesses, and it just feels like an exciting time to be living here.
I live in South Tulsa with my wife of 10 years, Maria, and our two young boys, Stone and Rhett. As a family, we absolutely treasure the time we get to spend together. Some of our favorite things to do are to go on walks together through our neighborhood, go to the park, and have family movie nights with pizza (Stone’s favorite). We’ve been a part of RiverOaks Presbyterian Church for 10 years and have made some incredible friendships there. We’re also blessed to have most of our immediate families here in town with us.
Getting into Real Estate and joining Tulsa Home & Design Realty has been a process long in the making. I’ve been in sales since I graduated from OSU in 2009, and it’s been so neat to walk this path that has led me here today. I knew Roderick and Jennifer in college, and recently we’ve reconnected through my wife’s charcuterie business, The Grazing Table. It’s amazing how small of a world it is and how things come full circle. At the same time that we were reconnecting, I had been working with a friend who is a real estate agent, doing some social media work for them. All at once, it seemed like friends, family, and circumstances were pointing in this direction. With my background in sales and most recently, insurance, it really is such a perfect fit for me and my family, and I am thrilled to start building this business. One thing that has been great in this process is that I’m able to continue working at my insurance agency while building my real estate business at the same time. The timing of everything could not be any better.
As far as Tulsa Home & Design Realty goes, I was drawn to their unique business model of working with homeowners at every stage, not only providing the opportunity to buy and sell homes, but to design, renovate, and actually create the homes they want to build a life in. For our family, home has always been the place we come to for peace, rest, and to reconnect. At each stage of life that we’ve walked through so far, our home has been a special place for us to land. Additionally, at the heart of everything I do and have done is a desire to help people grow, succeed, and live out their dreams, and Tulsa Home & Design Realty is the perfect place for me to do just that. I’m looking forward to the opportunity not only to work with friends and family that I’ve known for years and to see them find and create spaces to live, but also to meet and connect with so many new people and families. I truly cannot wait to see what happens!
